Elvox Audio Handset - 8870/8875 Series

The 8870/8875 will replace the 870/875. Both types are currently available, although the 8870/8875 is now being used in those audio kits that formerly used the 870/875.

The 8870/8875 handset is a wall mounted handset for general use with 'AC call' and 'Sound System' door entry kits. Handset are supplied complete with call buzzer or electronic call speaker, two buttons, one for door release and one auxiliary button (normally used for stairs lighting), fixing screws.

Colour: white or anthracite.

Dimensions: 75 x 220 x 60mm.

Features
  • Slim, thermo plastic moulding supplied in colour white or anthracite - Robust design with ridged galvanised back plate.
  • Quality microphone and speaker for Duplex (two way) speech - Clear speech reproduction for easy recognition of visitors.
  • 'Tinsel' handset coil cable - For reliable, long-term operation.
  • Large door release push and auxiliary buttons - Easy operation, especially for the young or elderly.
  • Loud 'AC Call' buzzer - Simple audible indication of presence of caller or 'Sound System' electronic call.
  • All components secured to base of handset with quick 'clip on' cover - Aids easy installation and servicing.
  • Additional push button as standard - May be used for any function, normally used for operating stairs lighting.
  • Option for additional buzzer within base of handset or two Sound System ring tones - May be used for any function, normally used for 'Local Door Bell'.

Options
  • 8870 - To be used on audio or video door entry systems with A.C. call, power supplies type 831, 836, 6580 (6680) and 4 + 1 conductor wiring.
  • 8871 - To be used on audio or video door entry systems with A.C. call, power supplies type 831, 836, 6580 (6680) and 4+ 1 conductor wiring. Equipped with conversation switch on the handset.
  • 8875 - To be used on audio or video door entry systems with Sound System call, power supplies type 931, 931/OCT, 936, 6680 and 4 + 1 conductor wiring.
  • 8872 - To be used on audio or video door entry systems with Sound System call, power supplies type 931, 931/OCT, 936, 6680 and 4 + 1 conductor wiring. Equipped with conversation switch on the handset.
  • 8878 - To be used on audio or video door entry systems with Sound System call, with conversation privacy and power supplies type 931 or 931/OCT.
  • 8877 - To be used on "1+n wire" audio door entry systems with Sound System call and power supply type 6837 or on electronic Digi Bus door entry system with digital distributor.
  • 8873 - To be used on "1+n wire" audio door entry systems with Sound System call, power supply type 6837 and conversation privacy.
